The trouble and the trap is in the apparent simplicity of electrical work. Small mistakes can cause quick and bad output. Poor wiring techniques can cause shock hazards that could not be obvious until the accident happens.

That is why there is an electrical code, so everyone is clear on the correct and incorrect means to perform an electrical repair and tuning. If every home was wired under a random standard, how could anyone without paranormal abilities discover how to troubleshoot a circuit?
We are not trying to prevent you from learning and enriching your skills. We wouldn’t have little chance of doing it, anycase. But you should know by now that we are a strong advocate of independence and self-reliance. But if one person burnt his house down because he thought that he could do that electrical job, and was not sufficiently knowledgeable to do the job|task right… well, that is not what we had in mind when started this energoproject. We have seen some electrical wiring disasters throughout Russia, and major share|most were done by homeowners who thought that doing electrical wiring|work was no more worthy of care than cleaning the backyard!
